ARUN MAITRI
Senior Partner – Litigation & Arbitration
Arun’s professional experience spans more than thirty five years in the field of Litigation, Arbitration, Employment and Property Law. His specialization also includes negotiating Employment contracts, Non-compete agreements, severance agreements and resolving employment related disputes. He has been representing numerous companies in matters pertaining to entire labour laws before various courts including labour courts & Industrial Tribunals, Bomany High Court, Delhi High Court, Punjab & Haryana High Court and Supreme Court of India.
Arun is an experienced transaction lawyer with an emphasis on understanding the clients requirements to provide practical legal solutions.
Over the years, Arun has represented and advised clients on complex commercial transactions, EPC contracts, regulatory issues and compliance. He has considerable experience advising and representing both PSUs and multi-national clients operating in various sectors. Arun has advised several foreign OEMs legal and regulatory issues.
While advising clients on various complex commercial aspects of transactions, Arun also represents clients in arbitrations under ICA, ICC and SIAC rules of arbitration. Arun has represented clients before the Delhi High Court on commercial disputes, enforcement of non-solicitation and confidentiality obligations.

GAURAV GUPTA
Partner -Tax Litigation
Gaurav’s professional experience spans more than fourteen years. He is a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from University of Delhi and also holds Bachelor’s degree in Law from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi. He also holds ‘Certificate in International Taxation’ from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Gaurav is also qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary with over 14 years of experience in tax advisory and dispute resolution, and practices before various Tribunals, High Courts and Supreme Court of India.
He has been instrumental in some of the high stake tax controversies in India which were nascent and complex. He has also assisted and advised several multi-national groups in relation to protectionists levies, indirect taxes, competition & anti-trust laws and litigation.
He has also assisted several family’s operated organizations in their succession planning as well as their business structuring.
He is member of the Delhi High Court Bar Association, the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal Bar Association, the International Fiscal Association, the Chambers of Tax Consultants and the Bombay Chartered Accountants’ Society.
Gaurav was previously associated with Advaita Legal, BMR Legal, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young and Vaish Associates, Advocates.

Nupur Khanna is a corporate commercial lawyer with over 14 years of experience in handling corporate, commercial and litigation matters with keen interest in intellectual property rights. Nupur started her career in the year 2005 as corporate lawyer with Thakker&Thakker, Mumbai. After having practiced corporate commercial law for 9 years with top law firms in India including AmarchandMangaldas, Nupur joined Bharti Enterprises, one of India’s leading conglomerates with diversified interests in telecom, insurance, real estate, agri and food besides other ventures as an in-house counsel.
In her stint with Bharti Group, Nupur not only handled various cross border corporate commercial transactions for Bharti Group Companies having interest in diverse sectors but also spear headed the IP portfolio of Bharti Enterprises and its group companies such as Bharti Airtel, leading global telecommunications company with operations in 16 countries across Asia and Africa ranking amongst the top 3 mobile service providers globally in terms of subscribers.

JEET KUMAR Managing Associate
Jeet has extensive experience of around 10 years in corporate laws, secretarial advisory and compliances, FDI advisory, FEMA compliances, employment and labour laws as well as in IPR laws. He enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Delhi in 2010. He is also a qualified Company Secretary.
He primarily handles general corporate law advisory including corporate & commercial transactions, legal due diligence, regulatory compliances and corporate litigation. He equally advises in merger and acquisition matters including compounding under the Companies Act and shifting of registered office from one state to another.
He has worked in various law firms including New Delhi Law Offices, India Law Offices, Suman Khaitan& Co., Seth Dua & Associates and Advaita Legal.
He regularly advises clients in entry strategy and best suitable business set up for doing business in India. He is independently handling the work relating to incorporation of companies, LLPs, branch and liaison office in India and its closures / winding up. He also assists clients in obtaining approvals and various registrations and licenses such as Importer and Exporter Code (IEC), GST, Shops and Establishment Act, EPF, ESIC etc.
